About us - Get Cycling
We are a registered community interest company based in York, but working all over the UK. We grew out of Company of Cyclists, founded nine years ago by 190 supporter-cyclists. We are dedicated to promoting cycling, in all its varieties, for leisure, transport, health, happiness and the environment. We work for local authorities, businesses, Primary Care Trusts, schools, universities and the leisure industry. We have four specialised bike try-out roadshow units which tour the UK and we run complex Get Cycling to Work schemes: we have huge experience in public events, showmanship and public safety. We also publish regional cycling guides and are cycling consultants to the leisure industry. We will, of course, bring large numbers of our own try-out bikes to the Get Cycling Show.
